Baby rutabaga is a special, very small variety of rutabaga. Its root and leaves have a pungent taste similar to raw cabbage or radishes, after cooking the taste softens.
Baby cruciferous plants are edible whole, including their leaves. Their taste is very mild, so they can be eaten uncooked, for example in salads instead of radishes.
