A lesser-known variety of pears originally from Korea. The fruits of Singo pears have a spherical shape similar to an apple and a light yellow-brown color. The weight of the fruit ranges from 400g to 800g, the flesh is very crispy, juicy and sweet, the sugar content is around 12 BX and more. The water content of the fruit is about 85%, it has only 51 Kcal, 0.3% protein, 0.2% fat and 10-15% sugars depending on the region of origin. Thanks to the high proportion of calcium and magnesium, they help balance the pH in the body and contain more vitamin B1 and B2 than apples.

In Asian countries, they are attributed medicinal effects and their consumption is recommended for symptoms of malaria, headaches and fever, however, the beneficial effect of these pears is manifested rather by the fact that they have a high content of sugar, water, are easily digestible and, in addition, have a cooling effect, especially in children.
