⏱️ Reading time: 3 min
Whether you’re making detox water to lose a few kilos, cleanse your system, or simply looking for an alternative to flavored drinks, you definitely won’t regret it. Water infused with fruit and aromatic herbs is also a guaranteed way to refresh yourself on hot summer days. Plus, it only takes a few minutes to prepare. We’ve put together three great recipes for you. If you’re in the mood for something a little more filling, you can add chia seeds.

Raspberry Water with Lime and Mint
This combination is not only beautiful to look at, but also very refreshing. Raspberries are full of antioxidants, which are found mainly in their red pigment. So the darker the raspberries, the more beneficial they are to your health. They are especially helpful for treating fevers, have anti-inflammatory properties, and aid in the elimination of toxins from the body. They are also rich in vitamins C, E, and B, as well as minerals—particularly magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, calcium, and phosphorus.
Limes are rich in vitamin C, which boosts the body’s immune system and helps fight colds. They also aid digestion and have a detoxifying effect. Their high content of antioxidants and flavonoids protects the body from free radicals.
Mint is a very popular herb, mainly because of its refreshing and invigorating flavor. It aids digestion, soothes an upset stomach, and relieves cramps.
Wash all the ingredients and slice the lime into rounds. You can tear the mint leaves to release their aroma more quickly. Place everything in a carafe or glass and pour in chilled water. Add ice as needed.

Blueberries with Orange
Blueberries are known for their high antioxidant content, which protects against free radicals, viruses, and bacteria. In addition, they protect the mucous membranes and aid in recovery, particularly after inflammatory diseases. They also have beneficial effects on the kidneys, as they cleanse them while fighting any inflammation. They are also an effective preventive measure against night blindness.
Oranges have invigorating effects and help maintain concentration. They are a useful aid during weight-loss diets, as they speed up metabolism and the elimination of toxins. The vitamins found in oranges are mainly vitamin C and B7 (biotin), as well as folic acid and pantothenic acid.
Wash the blueberries and the orange. Squeeze the juice from half of the orange and slice the other half into rounds. Place them in a suitable container, add the blueberries, and finally pour in chilled water.
Tropical Paradise – Coconut Water with Pineapple
The water from a fresh young coconut is truly magical. It contains a large amount of minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. It’s also the best electrolyte drink because it’s completely natural and, most importantly, contains no added sugars or artificial sweeteners. Among other things, it has hydrating effects, improves skin condition, and helps regulate body weight. It’s also a great natural remedy for headaches. You can also eat the flesh of a young coconut, which is easy to scoop out with a tablespoon, for example.
Pineapple is known for its enzyme bromelain, which breaks down proteins and helps break down fats. It contains large amounts of vitamins and minerals. Its high biotin content improves the quality of your skin, hair, and nails. It also has anti-inflammatory effects and supports digestive health.
Wash the pineapple and cut it into large pieces. Open the young coconut and pour the water into a carafe; add the pineapple and, if desired, some of the coconut flesh. If you prefer a milder flavor, add chilled water.
You can also add chia seeds to any drink—they’re literally packed with health-promoting nutrients. In addition to their ability to balance the body’s pH, they’re also a great source of iron, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Furthermore, regular consumption helps alleviate mental health issues such as depression or anxiety. They are particularly suitable for physically active people because they hydrate, provide energy, and, thanks to their high fiber content, keep you feeling full for longer.
