Pasta with Peas
prepared for Titbit by: Oh My Chef
This pasta dish is super simple and totally spring-like. We call it “green pasta” for short :-). We used all our favorite spring ingredients: mint, baby spinach, young peas, and kohlrabi. And, of course, Pečes!

- 1/2 kohlrabi
- 70 g baby spinach
- 8 peeled almonds
- 100 g young peas (we can use whole pods, shelled peas or both)
- 6 pcs of Pečes, plus a tablespoon of oil from a glass
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tbsp water
- salt
- 20 mint leaves
Method
- Cook the pasta in salted water as needed.
- Steam the spinach in hot water for 5 seconds.
- Put it in a higher bowl together with the almonds, garlic, water, oil, mint and parmesan cheese and blend with a hand blender until smooth. Salt.
- Slice the peas thinly and fry them in a little olive oil to soften.
- Drain the pasta, add to the peas and stir in the pesto.
- Garnish with chopped kohlrabi, peeled peas and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy your meal.
